Product Overview

Sikadur®-31 SBA S-03 IN is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive for jointing match-cast precast concrete segments in segmental bridge construction. The thixotropic, non-sag paste is moisture tolerant, bonds to dry and damp concrete, and cures without shrinkage to deliver a watertight joint that lubricates segments during erection and transfers loads once hardened. The S-03 grade is calibrated for warm working temperatures, with a recommended substrate and ambient range of roughly +15C to +35C, making it well matched to typical Indian site conditions. It conforms to FIP, BS and ASTM requirements and develops a 7-day compressive strength of at least 75 N/mm2. Used on metro viaducts, flyovers and box-girder bridges, it is available from Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor, in pre-batched packs for accurate field mixing.
