Product Overview
MasterEmaco S 488, formerly Emaco S88C T, is a cementitious, ready-to-use structural repair mortar reinforced with acrylic fibres. Mixed with water it forms a thixotropic, high-strength mortar with excellent bond to steel and concrete, applied by spray or trowel in thicknesses up to 50 mm in a single hand-applied layer. It is shrinkage-compensated, chloride-free and contains no metallic aggregate, with extremely low permeability for excellent resistance to aggressive elements, making it well suited to marine and industrial environments and concrete exposed to chlorides and sulphates. Low rebound makes spray application economical.
