Product Overview
MasterEmaco SBR 2 is a milky-white, high-dispersion styrene-butadiene (SBR) co-polymer latex used as a bonding agent and gauging admixture for site-batched mortars, screeds and waterproofing slurries. Added to cement, concrete or plaster, it reduces mixing time through high polymer dispersion and improves new-to-old bonding, flexural and tensile strength, abrasion resistance and water resistance while lowering the water-cement ratio and reducing shrinkage and cracking. It also helps protect embedded steel from corrosion. Typical uses span concrete and plaster repair, bond coats, floor screeds and toppings, and waterproofing of basements, water tanks and wet areas.
