Product Overview

Sikadur®-31 SBA S-02 IN is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive built for jointing match-cast precast concrete segments during balanced-cantilever and span-by-span bridge construction. Its thixotropic, moisture-tolerant formulation spreads easily, stays put on vertical joint faces, and cures without shrinkage to form a watertight bond that lubricates segments during assembly and transfers stress across the joint once set. The S-02 grade is temperature-tailored for hot working conditions, with a substrate and ambient window of roughly +25C to +45C. It develops high early and ultimate strength, reaching a 7-day compressive strength of at least 75 N/mm2. Specified on metro viaducts, flyovers and segmental bridge decks across India, it is supplied by Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika project distributor, with pre-batched packs for site-controlled mixing.
