Product Overview

Sikadur®-31 SBA S-04 IN is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive formulated for jointing match-cast precast concrete segments during cooler weather. Its thixotropic, moisture-tolerant body bonds to dry and damp concrete, resists sagging on vertical faces, and hardens without shrinkage to give a watertight joint that lubricates segments during erection and transfers load once cured. The S-04 grade is reactivity-tuned for low temperatures, with a recommended substrate and ambient range of roughly +10C to +20C, so segment bonding can continue through winter and early-morning windows. It satisfies FIP, BS and ASTM requirements and reaches a 7-day compressive strength of at least 75 N/mm2. Specified on metro and highway viaducts, it is supplied by Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor, in pre-batched site packs.
