Product Overview
Sikadur®-31 SBA S-09 IN is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive for jointing match-cast precast concrete segments in hot working environments. The thixotropic, moisture-tolerant paste bonds to dry and damp concrete, resists slumping on vertical faces, and cures without shrinkage to create a watertight joint that lubricates segments during assembly and transfers loads after hardening. The S-09 grade covers a broad high-temperature window of roughly +20C to +50C, making it a flexible choice for hot-climate Indian sites where surface temperatures swing through the day. It meets FIP, BS and ASTM requirements and develops a 7-day compressive strength of at least 75 N/mm2. Deployed on metro viaducts, flyovers and segmental bridges, it is supplied by Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika project distributor, in pre-batched packs.
