Sika® Cracksil is a ready-to-use, non-shrink repair mortar engineered to fill static, non-moving cracks in plaster, RCC and masonry walls. Supplied as a white powder, it needs only the addition of clean water before it is worked into the crack, where it self-cures and bonds firmly to the surrounding substrate on both vertical and horizontal faces. It is well suited to hairline and surface cracks up to 5 mm wide on interior and exterior walls, including damp areas such as toilets and balconies, provided there is no active water leakage. Because the cured material is non-staining and UV-resistant, repairs blend into the wall and hold up under weather exposure. What is Sika Cracksil used for?

How do you mix and apply Sika Cracksil?
Open hairline cracks to at least 1 mm, clean the area, then mix the white powder with clean water to a workable paste and press it into the crack on vertical or horizontal surfaces. It self-cures without a primer. Follow the product TDS for the exact water ratio.
Can Sika Cracksil be used on moving or structural cracks?
No. It is designed for static, non-moving cracks. Moving cracks or stress cracks at wall, column and lintel junctions need a flexible sealant such as a Sika polyurethane joint sealant rather than a rigid filler.
Is Sika Cracksil suitable for damp walls?
Yes, it can be applied to damp surfaces, but not where there is active water leakage or running water. For leaking cracks, a waterproofing or injection system should be used first.
