Product Overview
SikaWrap-450 C is a mid-weight, unidirectional woven carbon fibre fabric for the Sika externally bonded reinforcement system. Its 0-degree mid-strength carbon filaments are held by a thermoplastic heat-set weft and impregnated on site with Sikadur epoxy by wet or dry lay-up. The thicker cured laminate carries more tensile load per layer than lighter fabrics, so it suits members needing substantial flexural, shear or confinement reinforcement, including seismic retrofit and replacement of missing steel. It bonds to reinforced concrete, masonry, brickwork and timber while adding little weight or dimension. The higher fibre density per ply can reduce the number of layers on heavy strengthening jobs.
