Product Overview

Cebex 100 is a powder admixture that is added to site-batched cement or cement-sand mixes to convert a plain cement grout (which would otherwise shrink significantly on setting) into a non-shrink, non-bleed, expansive grout for precision grouting, void filling, and gap-filling applications. It works by releasing controlled quantities of gas (hydrogen) during the plastic phase of the cement paste, producing microscopic bubbles that expand the grout to counteract shrinkage and ensure positive contact with the surrounding concrete and base plate surfaces. Unlike pre-packed grouting products such as Conbextra GP or STD, Cebex 100 is an admixture for use when site-batching of grout is required — for example, on large infrastructure projects where materials are batched at a central mix plant, or when site-blended grout is specified. It is used at a small dosage relative to cement weight and is uniformly dispersed into the dry cement or wet mix to produce consistent non-shrink performance.
