Product Overview
Nitoproof 650PU is a two-component, aliphatic polyurethane waterproofing membrane for exposed roof terraces, podium decks, and concrete floors requiring a high-elongation, seamless, UV-stable waterproofing membrane. The aliphatic isocyanate formulation provides superior UV stability compared to aromatic polyurethanes — the membrane retains its colour and physical properties under prolonged direct sunlight exposure, which is critical in the intense UV environment of Northern India. Nitoproof 650PU cures to form a tough, elastic membrane with very high elongation (over 500%), enabling it to bridge fine substrate cracks and accommodate significant thermal movement in exposed concrete decks. It is applied in two or three coats to achieve a total film thickness of 2.0 to 3.0 mm. A reinforcing polyester fleece fabric can be embedded in the first coat for enhanced tear resistance and crack bridging over construction joints. The system can be overcoated with protective wearing coats or tiles, or left as a finished exposed membrane in suitable applications.
