Product Overview
Auramix 300 is a third-generation, polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based high range water reducing superplasticiser for ready mix concrete, high-strength structural concrete, and precast production. PCE-based admixtures represent the current state of the art in superplasticiser technology, offering significantly better slump retention (workability over time) compared to older naphthalene-based products like Conplast SP430. This extended slump retention makes Auramix 300 particularly valuable for ready mix concrete that must be transported in truck agitators over longer distances before discharge at the pump — the concrete retains adequate workability for placing and compaction without the need for retempering. Auramix 300 also provides higher water reduction (up to 30 to 35% at optimum dosage) compared to naphthalene-based superplasticisers, enabling the production of very high strength concrete (M60, M80, and beyond) in combination with supplementary cementitious materials. It is compatible with all Portland cements, fly ash, GGBS, and silica fume.
