Product Overview

Conbextra HR is a factory pre-blended, single-component, heat resistant, non-shrink cementitious precision grout designed for grouting machinery and equipment whose base plates or foundations are subject to elevated service temperatures. Ordinary Portland cement-based grouts suffer progressive strength loss and expansion when exposed to temperatures above approximately 80 degrees C in service — a problem that causes loosening of grouted machine bases and eventual misalignment of rotating equipment. Conbextra HR uses refractory grade cementitious binders that are stable at elevated temperature, maintaining structural integrity and positive contact with the base plate even when subject to long-term elevated temperature exposure. It is used for boilers, kilns, hot gas fans, high-temperature compressors, and other process plant items where the temperature at the grout interface may exceed normal cementitious grout service limits.
