Conbextra UHS — Ultra High Strength Non-Shrink Cementitious Precision Grout

Conbextra UHS

Ultra High Strength Non-Shrink Cementitious Precision Grout

Authorized Project Distributor — Fosroc India | Space Arc Engineering, Ghaziabad

Product Overview

Conbextra UHS is a single-component, factory pre-blended, ultra high strength cementitious precision grout conforming to ASTM C 1107 Type A. It is engineered for applications demanding the highest possible compressive strength from a cementitious grout — achieving 28-day compressive strengths of 70 MPa and above. Conbextra UHS is specified when OEM grouting specifications call for ultra high strength grout under the most critically loaded machinery, or when the foundation gap is narrow and the grout must achieve maximum strength in minimal volume. Despite its ultra high strength, Conbextra UHS maintains excellent fluid flow consistency for complete void filling. Space Arc Engineering distributes Conbextra UHS for power generation, petrochemical, and heavy infrastructure projects across Delhi NCR and Northern India.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Conbextra UHS compare to standard Conbextra GP2?

Conbextra UHS achieves 70+ MPa at 28 days compared to GP2 at typically 50–55 MPa. UHS is specified when OEM documentation requires very high grout strength, or when bearing stress calculations under very heavily loaded base plates exceed what GP2 can deliver.

Is Conbextra UHS more difficult to mix and place than GP2?

Conbextra UHS requires only water addition, like all Conbextra cementitious grouts. At the recommended water-to-powder ratio, it achieves the target ultra high strength. Adding more water than specified will increase workability at the cost of significantly reduced compressive strength.

What is the typical pot life of Conbextra UHS after mixing?

At 25 degrees C, Conbextra UHS typically has a usable pot life of approximately 30 to 45 minutes. In hot weather above 35 degrees C, pot life reduces and the grout should be placed within 20 to 30 minutes of mixing. Use cool water and shade the mixing equipment in hot Indian conditions.
