Fosroc Polyurea FLM is a two-component, spray-applied, fast-reacting pure polyurea waterproofing and protective coating for roof terraces, podium car park decks, industrial floors, and secondary containment areas. What equipment is needed to apply Fosroc Polyurea FLM?
Fosroc Polyurea FLM requires a professional heated, proportioning plural component spray machine (such as a Graco Reactor or equivalent) that heats the two components separately and mixes them at the spray gun at high temperature and pressure. This is specialist equipment and the application must be carried out by trained and certified polyurea applicators. This is not a product that can be brush or roller applied. Can Fosroc Polyurea FLM be applied in the rain or on damp surfaces?
One of the unique advantages of polyurea over epoxy or PU coatings is its ability to be applied in damp conditions and at low temperatures. Polyurea is not moisture-sensitive during application (unlike moisture-curing PU or two-component epoxy). However, for best adhesion and to avoid surface defects, the substrate should be free of standing water and the surface should be clean. Light background humidity does not prevent application. Always refer to the current product TDS for the specific temperature and humidity limits.
