Product Overview
Sikadur-52 IN SLV Mortar is a two-component, solvent-free, low-viscosity (SLV) self-levelling epoxy mortar system used for sealing, filling, and levelling cracks and narrow joints in concrete floors. Its low viscosity enables it to flow and self-level into fine surface cracks, narrow joints, and surface irregularities under the influence of gravity alone, without the need for trowelling or compaction. Once cured, it forms an extremely hard, chemically resistant, seamless repair that becomes fully integral with the concrete substrate. Sikadur-52 IN SLV Mortar is widely used as a pore-sealing and crack-filling primer coat before application of epoxy or polyurethane floor coatings and screeds, ensuring a defect-free base that will not telegraph through the finished floor system. Can Sikadur-52 IN SLV Mortar be used on moving cracks?
Sikadur-52 IN SLV Mortar, like all rigid epoxy systems, is not suitable for dynamic or moving cracks. If the crack is active and undergoing cyclic movement, a flexible polyurethane sealant or flexible joint system should be used instead.
