Product Overview

Sikaflex-400 Fire is a single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane sealant engineered for fire-rated movement and connection joints on both porous and non-porous substrates. It combines passive fire protection with the high elasticity expected of a quality PU sealant, restoring the fire resistance of linear joints and service penetrations while still accommodating thermal and structural movement. Tested to recognised standards including EN 1366-4 and AS 1530.4, it can deliver up to four hours of fire resistance depending on the joint configuration. Its good workability, easy tooling and long open time make it practical for both internal and external joints in concrete, masonry, tile and metal construction.
