Product Overview

SikaWrap-300 C NW is a unidirectional, stitched non-woven carbon fibre fabric for the Sika externally bonded reinforcement system. Unlike woven sheets, the 0-degree carbon tows are held by a light stitch rather than interlaced, so the filaments stay straight and develop their tensile capacity efficiently once impregnated with Sikadur epoxy. The cured carbon laminate bonds to reinforced concrete, masonry, brickwork and timber to raise flexural and shear capacity, confine columns and support seismic upgrades. It can be installed by either the wet or the dry lay-up method, giving applicators flexibility on site. Long 100 m rolls reduce joints on continuous runs. Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor in India, supplies SikaWrap-300 C NW with the appropriate Sikadur resins for strengthening and retrofit projects.
