Product Overview

Sika ViscoCrete-730 PR is a third-generation, high-range water-reducing superplasticizer for concrete and mortar, based on modified polycarboxylate chemistry. It works by adsorbing onto cement grains and using a steric effect to keep them separated, which gives powerful water reduction, excellent flowability and easier placing and compaction. The result is high-density, high-strength concrete with reduced permeability and shrinkage. Being chloride-free, it is safe for reinforced and prestressed concrete, and it can produce self-compacting concrete without the need for a separate viscosity-modifying admixture. Typical uses include ready-mix, precast, site-batched and self-compacting concrete.
