Space Arc Engineering, an Authorized Project Distributor for STP Limited, supplies ShaliProtek® 2AC PU Surfacer — a two-component, liquid, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane matt mid-coat from STP Limited used as an intermediate coat between the primer and final topcoat in multi-layer protective coating systems. Builds film thickness and provides a key for the topcoat.

FAQs
Is 2AC PU Surfacer used as a primer?
No — it is a mid-coat (surfacer) between primer and topcoat. A separate anti-corrosion primer (Zn R, ERO 60, etc.) is the first coat.
Is a surfacer always needed?
Not always — for demanding systems or when high total DFT is specified, a surfacer mid-coat is included to build film thickness.
