SikaPlast®-5202 NS is a retarding superplasticizing admixture based on modified polycarboxylate (PCE) chemistry, used for high-range water reduction in ready-mixed concrete. Effective cement dispersion enables strong water reduction for concrete with high density, increased strength and reduced permeability, while the retarding action extends workability — useful for longer haul distances and hot-weather placement. The hardened concrete also benefits from reduced shrinkage and creep. Its low sensitivity to aggregate and cement variation supports consistent results at the batching plant. Typical applications include ready-mixed concrete, high-water-reduction mixes and diverse concrete systems with varying raw materials.
