Product Overview
SikaShield® P35 MG IN 3 mm is a high-performance APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bituminous waterproofing membrane on a non-woven polyester carrier, finished with decorative mineral granules and engineered to stay flexible at temperatures as low as -5 C. The 3 mm torch-applied sheet bonds fully to a primed substrate when its burn-off film is melted, producing a continuous waterproof layer with elevated mechanical strength, high joint-shear resistance and watertightness verified to at least 60 kPa. It is used on flat and sloping roofs up to 15% gradient, terraces, balconies, decks, podiums and bridge decks, as a single layer or as a cap sheet over a base membrane. Engineers and waterproofing contractors specify the P35 grade where higher performance is needed. Space Arc Engineering is the authorized Sika distributor in India for this product.

How does SikaShield P35 differ from the P24 grade?
The P35 grade is the higher-performance line: it stays flexible to -5 C (versus around -2 C for P24), has a higher softening point (>=150 C) and much higher watertightness (>=60 kPa), with stronger joint-shear values. Choose it for more demanding waterproofing.
What is SikaShield P35 MG IN 3 mm used for?
It is a 3 mm torch-applied APP bituminous membrane for roofs up to 15% gradient, terraces, balconies, decks, podiums and bridge decks, used as a single layer or cap sheet.
How is the membrane installed?
It is torch-applied by melting the underside burn-off film so the sheet fully bonds to a primed substrate. Apply at +5 C to +40 C with substrate moisture below 6% and lap 80-100 mm sides / 150 mm ends.
Can it be tiled or painted over?
Yes. Tiles can be placed directly on the membrane and it can be painted immediately after application. Refer to the TDS for finishing guidance.
