Product Overview
SikaSwell A is a rectangular acrylic sealing profile that swells when it comes into contact with water, sealing construction joints and penetrations in concrete structures. Fixed into the joint before the second concrete pour, the profile expands against the surrounding concrete to close small cracks and voids, and it remains water-resistant through repeated wet and dry cycles. It is an economical alternative to traditional waterstops and is quick to install, compatible with many substrates and resistant to a range of chemicals. Typical applications include construction joints, pipe and steelwork penetrations through walls and floors, connection joints and cable ducts.
