Product Overview
Sika® Sigunit® L is a liquid set-accelerating admixture and rebound reducer for the wet spray shotcrete process. Based on a modified silicate, it acts as a cohesion agent with a momentary gluing effect, so sprayed concrete grips walls, rock and existing concrete on contact, including overhead. This dramatically reduces rebound of the gun mix, lets crews build thick layers in a single pass, cuts dust and produces high-strength, dense shotcrete. It is widely used to stabilise rock during tunnelling, secure excavation pits and reinforce rock and soil, as well as for permanent gunite and shotcrete elements.
