Product Overview
Sikafloor-80 EpoCem Primer is a two-component, water-based epoxy primer engineered to bond Sika’s EpoCem moisture-barrier underlayments to concrete, cementitious screeds and levelling layers. It penetrates and seals the surface, neutralising dust and improving adhesion of the subsequent Sikafloor-81 and Sikafloor-82 EpoCem layers. Because it is water-borne and odourless, it can be applied on damp concrete and inside occupied or poorly ventilated spaces without solvent fumes. It is particularly effective on porous, highly absorbent substrates where conventional solvent primers struggle. Typical applications include factory floors, warehouses, food and pharma plants and any industrial slab being upgraded with an epoxy-cement system. Supplied in India by Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor, it forms the critical first coat in a reliable, blister-free flooring build-up.
