Product Overview
SikaShield® Primer W-30 IN is a single-component, quick-drying, water-based modified bituminous primer that penetrates and activates substrates to improve adhesion of preformed SikaShield bituminous sheet membranes. As a water-based product it is low in odour and well suited to enclosed or sensitive sites, yet still bonds strongly to concrete, screed mortar, porous stone, lime-concrete and aged bituminous surfaces. It is applied by brush, roller or spray ahead of torch-on and stick-on APP and SBS modified membranes, and is diluted with clean water before use. The formulation is engineered for tropical climate conditions. Waterproofing and roofing contractors choose it for priming where a water-based system is preferred. W-30 IN is water-based and low-odour, ideal for enclosed or occupied areas, while S-30 IN is solvent-based for faster drying and deeper penetration. Select based on site ventilation and turnaround needs.
