Product Overview

SikaShield® Primer S-30 IN is a single-component, low-viscosity, solvent-based bituminous primer formulated to prepare substrates for SikaShield bituminous waterproofing membranes. Brushed, rolled or sprayed onto clean, dry surfaces, it penetrates cementitious materials and activates the surface, promoting a strong, reliable bond for both torch-on and stick-on APP and SBS modified membranes. It adheres well to concrete, screed mortar, porous stone and lime-concrete, and revives old bituminous surfaces, while its quick-drying nature keeps roofing programmes on schedule. The formulation is suited to tropical climate conditions. Waterproofing contractors and roofing applicators use it as the priming step beneath SikaShield membrane systems.
