Product Overview
SikaShield® P24 MG IN 4 mm is a 4 mm APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bituminous waterproofing membrane built on a non-woven polyester reinforcement and topped with decorative mineral granules. The thicker 4 mm body provides extra mechanical robustness for demanding, exposed waterproofing. Installed by the torch method, its burn-off underside film is melted so the sheet bonds fully to a primed deck, forming a seamless, watertight membrane with strong tensile, tear and shear resistance and good resistance to thermal and structural stresses. It is specified on flat and sloping roofs up to 15% gradient, terraces, balconies, podiums, decks and bridge decks under asphalt, as a single layer or multi-layer cap sheet.
