Product Overview
Sika® UCS h is an underwater concrete stabiliser based on alkali-resistant stabilisers that give the mix thixotropic, anti-bleed behaviour. When concrete or grout is placed in water-bearing or fully submerged conditions, UCS h binds the cement paste tightly to the aggregates and dramatically reduces the wash-out of cement and fines, so the placed material keeps its integrity instead of dispersing into the surrounding water. It strengthens the bond between paste and aggregate, improves cohesion, and is chloride-free, so it does not attack reinforcement; once bound into the cement matrix it is ecologically harmless. Marine and hydraulic contractors use it for underwater pours and submerged grouting.
