Product Overview

Sika® FerroGard®-903 is a penetrating, bipolar corrosion-inhibiting impregnation for hardened concrete that is applied to the surface and migrates inward to reach the embedded reinforcement. By forming a protective layer on both the anodic and cathodic areas of the steel, it slows corrosion driven by chloride contamination and carbonation. Critically, it does not change the appearance of the concrete or alter its water-vapour diffusion, making it ideal for fair-faced and architecturally sensitive structures. Used as part of a complete repair and protection system, it can extend service life by up to 15 years. It is widely applied to bridges, highways, marine, precast and prestressed structures. Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor in India, supplies this ready-to-use inhibitor with on-site guidance. It penetrates roughly 25–40 mm over one to two months at about 0.5 kg/m².
