Product Overview
Sikagard®-72 W is a silane-siloxane based water-repellent impregnation for cementitious, brick and stone surfaces. Applied by brush or spray in two wet-on-wet coats, it penetrates the pores and lines them with a hydrophobic layer that sharply reduces capillary water absorption while keeping the substrate vapour-open. Because it impregnates rather than coats, it leaves no glossy film and preserves the natural look of masonry, and the resulting water-beading effect also improves frost and de-icing-salt resistance and discourages algae and fungal growth. It is well suited to facades, plaster, exposed brick and stone cladding.
