Product Overview
SikaSeal-623 Fire+ is a single-component, ready-to-use intumescent graphite sealant developed for passive fire protection of penetrations and joints in fire-compartment walls and floors. When exposed to fire, the graphite-based formula expands strongly, sealing the openings left by combustible services such as plastic pipes, pipe insulation and conduits and restoring the fire resistance of the partition. It delivers up to four hours of fire resistance in tested systems and also contributes acoustic insulation at the penetration. CE-marked under an ETA and supported by UL-EU certification, it is intended for fire-stopping specialists, MEP contractors and facade teams working to compartmentation requirements.
