Product Overview
SikaShield® W159 ED 1,5 mm is a 1.5 mm wet-applied bituminous waterproofing membrane reinforced with cross-laminated polyethylene and supplied with peel-off liners on both faces for fast, clean installation. Because it is bonded without a torch, it is ideal for confined below-ground spaces where flame-free working is essential, and it can even bond to damp concrete. Once applied, it forms a fully bonded waterproofing layer that resists lateral water migration, withstands impact and develops high elongation for movement accommodation. It is specified for basements and below-ground structures, vertical RCC walls, single and strip foundations, and as a base sheet in multi-layer systems; it is not intended for permanently UV-exposed roofs.
