Product Overview
SikaCeram®-288 Flex S1 is a polymer-modified, flexible, one-component cementitious tile adhesive classified S1 (flexible) in accordance with EN 12004. S1 designation indicates deformability of 2.5–5 mm, making it substantially more crack-resistant than standard C1 adhesives and suitable for substrates subject to minor movement or vibration. It provides strong adhesion to concrete, cement-sand screed, and tile backer board substrates, and is compatible with ceramic tiles, large format porcelain panels, and many natural stone types. SikaCeram®-288 Flex S1 is the right specification step up when standard tile adhesive may not provide adequate crack resistance over underfloor heating pipes, external facades, or wet areas requiring flexible waterproofing compatibility.
