Product Overview
SikaCeram-488 Floor Leveler is a polymer-modified, self-smoothing cementitious compound that produces a flat, even base before floor finishes are laid. Poured and spread over a primed subfloor, it flows out to a smooth surface and hardens quickly, correcting unevenness in a single operation across thicknesses from 2 to 15 mm. It is formulated for interior residential and non-industrial floors and creates an ideal substrate for ceramic and porcelain tiles as well as resilient coverings such as vinyl, linoleum and carpet. By replacing tedious hand-screeding, it speeds up the programme and improves the finished flatness, which in turn improves adhesion and appearance of the final floor.
