Product Overview
Colpor 200PF is a cold applied, polymer modified bituminous joint sealant specifically formulated for sealing expansion joints, transverse and longitudinal joints, and cracks in concrete and asphalt road and airfield pavements. Unlike the hot-applied bituminous sealants that require heating equipment, Colpor 200PF is applied at ambient temperature from the tin by pouring or pressurised squeegee — a significant operational advantage on busy road and airfield repair projects where hot equipment would represent a fire and safety hazard. The polymer modification of the bitumen provides improved elastic recovery after movement and better temperature stability than unmodified bituminous sealants — remaining flexible at low temperatures and not flowing out of the joint at high pavement surface temperatures. Colpor 200PF forms a waterproof sealant that prevents water, dirt, and incompressibles from entering the joint and damaging the joint edges.
