Product Overview
Sika® CoolCoat Primer is a water-based primer built on a self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion polymer, formulated to seal porous substrates and improve the bond of water-based cool-roof coatings. It resists efflorescence and penetrates into the surface, so it is ideal as a seal coat over concrete, brick, cementitious renderings, wall putty, false ceilings and asbestos before the Sika® CoolCoat system is applied. Supplied as a white emulsion that dries clear, it is simply stirred to a uniform consistency and applied in a single coat to clean substrates.
