Product Overview
Sikagard®-551 S Elastic Primer is a one-part, silane-siloxane modified primer developed for the full range of concrete surfaces and difficult application conditions. It penetrates deeply to consolidate weak, dusty or highly porous substrates and to key tightly onto very dense concrete, creating a sound, uniform base for Sika protective and anti-carbonation coatings. It is equally effective as a primer over firmly adhering, existing solvent-based coatings during refurbishment. Supplied colourless and ready to use, it is applied by brush, roller or airless spray, with up to 10% Sika Thinner C optionally added on dense substrates to aid penetration.
