Product Overview
Sikalastic®-590 IN is a single-component liquid-applied membrane based on a polyurethane-modified acrylic dispersion, engineered for roof waterproofing and repair where improved water-ponding resistance is needed. It cures into a seamless, elastic film with excellent UV resistance, good crack-bridging capacity and an attractive finish, and the white variant provides solar reflectance for energy-efficient roofs. Applied cold by brush or roller over a primed substrate, it bonds well to a range of backgrounds and follows complex roof details. The system suits new construction, refurbishment and cost-effective life extension of failing roofs, and can be reinforced for higher-movement areas. Yes. For higher-movement or detailed areas it can be applied with fabric reinforcement embedded between the base and top coats, which is why base and top coat consumption is given as a range.
