Product Overview
Sikalastic®-853 R AP is a two-component, hot spray-applied hybrid polyurea membrane designed for fast, high-output roof waterproofing. Sprayed through heated plural-component equipment, it gels in around 20 seconds and becomes rain resistant within about 5 minutes, allowing large areas and complex geometries to be covered quickly in a single seamless application. The cured membrane offers high tensile and tear strength with good elasticity and elongation, strong chemical resistance and reliable crack bridging. For fully exposed roofs it is finished with an aliphatic top coat to provide UV protection. It is used on flat and sloping roofs, balcony and terrace decks with protective coverings, and concrete, metal and pedestrian-deck substrates.
