Product Overview
Sikalastic®-10 Primer EP is a two-component, 100% solids, solvent-free epoxy primer designed to prepare substrates before Sikalastic® liquid-applied and SikaShield® bituminous roof membranes. Based on an epoxy resin with special fillers, it penetrates and stabilises low-to-medium absorbent surfaces such as concrete, cement screeds and epoxy mortars, and primes metal when sand-broadcast. It can also act as a binder for scratch coats, levelling layers and repair mortars. Applied by brush, roller or squeegee and back-rolled in two directions, it builds a strong, well-keyed base that promotes adhesion of the subsequent membrane. It serves waterproofing contractors and roofing applicators preparing demanding decks.
