Product Overview
SikaTop®-122 HS is a ready-to-use, one-component, polymer-modified and fibre-reinforced cementitious repair mortar offering high strength and excellent adhesion to concrete substrates. Simply add water to activate this pre-batched product, eliminating the need for site mixing of multiple components. The integrated polymer and fibres significantly improve bond strength, shrinkage resistance, and durability compared to plain cement-sand mortars. SikaTop®-122 HS is suitable for both hand application and machine spray application for large area repairs. What surface preparation is needed before using SikaTop-122 HS?
The substrate must be clean, free of laitance, oil, and loose material, and saturated surface dry (SSD). Apply a Sika bonding primer such as Sika Hibond or Sikadur-32 IN before applying the repair mortar for maximum bond strength.
Can SikaTop-122 HS be machine sprayed?
Yes. SikaTop-122 HS is suitable for both hand application and machine spray application using a wet-spray mortar gun, making it efficient for large repair areas.
