Master Builders Solutions Ucrete UD200 (Master Builders Solutions)
A seamless polyurethane cement floor built to take boiling water, steam and aggressive chemicals without cracking or lifting.
What is it?
A multi-component, water-based polyurethane cement screed, trowelled 6-12 mm thick into a dense, joint-free industrial floor.
Where is it used?
Food and beverage plants, dairies, breweries, meat and seafood units, pharma facilities, commercial kitchens and chemical process areas.
Why use it?
It takes near-boiling spillage, live steam and a wide range of acids and alkalis without the cracking or delamination that eventually catches up with resin coatings.
How is it applied?
A licensed Ucrete applicator primes the prepared concrete, trowels the screed to thickness in one continuous pour per bay, then protects it while it cures.
About Master Builders Solutions Ucrete UD200 (Master Builders Solutions)
Most resin floors are coatings – a thin skin of epoxy or polyurethane on top of concrete. Ucrete UD200 is a polyurethane cement instead: the PU binder is mixed with graded mineral aggregate into an actual 6-12 mm screed that behaves more like the concrete beneath it than like a paint film. That shows the moment your floor meets a steam hose, a spilled kettle of hot oil, or a CIP cycle at 90°C-plus – conditions that crack a conventional coating within a couple of years.
Space Arc supplies and applies Ucrete UD200 across Delhi NCR and pan-India for plants where the floor must survive thermal shock, resist process chemicals and keep bacteria out of pores and joints. It is one layer of the wider Ucrete system from Master Builders Solutions; where a project also needs a primer or coved skirting, we specify those from the same range so the floor performs as one system, not a patchwork of separately-sourced products.
The technical insight
Two things drive the performance. First, the binder is a cross-linked, water-based polyurethane cement rather than solvent-based epoxy – it doesn’t soften at elevated temperature, which is why it stays intact under continuous spillage to 130°C at 12 mm, with occasional splashes to 150°C. Second, its thermal expansion is engineered to track concrete’s own movement far more closely than epoxy or standard PU coatings. When a floor heats under a steam hose and cools rapidly, the wearing layer and substrate have to move together; if they don’t, the bond fails and you get the hairline cracking that plagues thinner systems. Near-zero water absorption then keeps moisture out of the concrete below and denies bacteria the damp micro-pores they need to colonise.
Where it is used
- CIP wash bays, pasteuriser rooms and process floors in dairies and breweries
- Meat, poultry and seafood processing floors under constant washdown and steam cleaning
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing and packing halls needing GMP-grade, joint-free hygiene
- Commercial and institutional kitchens with hot oil, boiling water and trolley traffic
- Chemical and API manufacturing areas exposed to acid, alkali and solvent spillage
- Cold store and blast-freezer approach floors cycling between hot cleaning and sub-zero storage
Key advantages
- Withstands continuous spillage to 130°C and occasional splashes to 150°C at 12 mm
- Seamless, joint-free surface with effectively zero water absorption
- High compressive (52-55 N/mm²) and flexural (~14 N/mm²) strength for forklift and pallet-truck traffic
- R11 slip rating holds up even in wet, greasy processing conditions
- Thermal expansion close to concrete’s own, resisting the debonding thermal cycling causes in rigid coatings
- Trafficable in under 24 hours, roughly 4 hours with accelerator
Limitations & considerations
- Functional matte finish only – not a decorative gloss floor, colour choice limited to the standard range
- Must be installed by trained, approved Ucrete applicators, not a generalist-contractor product
- Needs a structurally sound concrete substrate of adequate strength – cannot go over weak or friable toppings
- Freshly laid screed needs protection from water and condensation for at least the first 24 hours
Selection & best practice
Get the substrate right first: sound concrete cured at least three days, free of oil, laitance and coatings, with the strength the system needs. Cracks and joints get pre-treated before the screed goes down, or they telegraph through. Keep material, substrate and air temperature within the specified window, pour each bay continuously to avoid cold joints, and keep water and foot traffic off for the first 24 hours. Use the accelerator only where a shutdown window genuinely demands it. Space Arc handles substrate assessment, primer selection and the pour as one sequence, so the floor is one applicator’s responsibility.

Industry use cases
Dairy & beverage
CIP bays see near-boiling water daily; near-zero absorption stops the moisture ingress that breaks epoxy floors down within seasons.
Pharmaceutical
GMP floors get audited for hairline cracks and joints – a seamless surface gives inspectors nothing to flag.
Meat & seafood processing
Constant washdown and steam cleaning define this floor; R11 grip and thermal-shock tolerance are built for it.
Chemical & API manufacturing
Drum-handling areas with acid or alkali spillage need chemical resistance and load capacity together.

How we position Master Builders Solutions Ucrete UD200 (Master Builders Solutions)
Ucrete UD200 is the wearing-layer workhorse of the Ucrete system; where a project also needs a primer or coved skirting, Space Arc specifies matching Ucrete products so the floor is one compatible system. Not every plant needs this level of heat and chemical performance – for areas without genuine steam or high-temperature spillage, we’re equally upfront about lighter, less expensive epoxy or PU coatings that still meet the hygiene brief. For a directly comparable heavy-duty cementitious PU alternative, see Fosroc Nitoflor Floorcrete PU below.
Fosroc Fosroc Nitoflor Floorcrete PU — Nitoflor Floorcrete PU is Fosroc’s cementitious polyurethane topping for the same category of heavy-duty, hygienic, chemical- and thermal-shock-resistant floors. It is flow-applied rather than trowel-applied, which can suit large open bays. Space Arc supplies both ranges and recommends whichever fits your substrate, programme and budget.
