Product Overview

Sikagard® PU UR (W) is a single-component, waterborne polyurethane-dispersion coating that dries to a seamless semi-gloss finish and carries an in-film preservative for hygiene-critical spaces. It seals internal walls and ceilings over concrete, brick, cement-based and gypsum substrates, as well as metal, timber, tile and plastic, and is widely specified for pharmaceutical clean rooms, food and beverage plants, hospitals, commercial kitchens and leisure facilities. The elastomeric film resists cracking and flaking and withstands repeated cleaning with mild detergents, keeping surfaces easy to sanitise. Two coats can be completed in a single working day, reducing downtime in operating facilities. Space Arc Engineering, an authorized Sika distributor in India, supplies the product to contractors and facility managers along with application guidance. It is offered in white and is certified food grade per USFDA 175.300.
