Product Overview
Sikafloor-82 EpoCem is a three-part, epoxy-modified cementitious mortar used as a self-smoothing screed and temporary moisture barrier in the 3 to 7 mm thickness range. It is the thicker sibling of Sikafloor-81 EpoCem, chosen where floors need more build to level out or where a hard-wearing screed surface is required. Like the rest of the EpoCem family it is vapour-permeable yet impermeable to liquids, so resin floor finishes can be laid over damp or green concrete without osmotic blistering, and it can be overcoated after about 24 hours. It bonds well to green or hardened damp concrete, resists chemicals and frost, and will not corrode embedded reinforcement. Common uses include industrial slabs, repair screeds and refurbishment floors. What is the difference between Sikafloor-81 and Sikafloor-82 EpoCem?
Both are epoxy-cement screeds and moisture barriers, but Sikafloor-81 is applied at 1.5-3 mm while Sikafloor-82 is built thicker at 3-7 mm. Choose Sikafloor-82 when you need more thickness to level the floor or a heavier-duty screed surface.
Can Sikafloor-82 EpoCem be used over damp concrete?
