Product Overview
SikaProof-312 HDPE SG IN is a pre-applied, fully bonded waterproofing membrane built from a virgin HDPE sheet, an adhesive layer and a weatherproof sand topping for below-ground structures. It is installed before reinforcement and concreting, so that when fresh concrete is poured against it, the adhesive activates and forms a permanent, integral bond to the concrete surface. This full bond resists water tracking between membrane and structure, a common weakness of loose-laid systems. With an HDPE film thicker than 0.9 mm and a composite thickness of at least 1.5 mm, it is used on base slabs, walls, footings and grade slabs in basements, subways and tunnels. It offers high tensile strength and water-tightness exceeding 71 m of hydrostatic head.
