Master Builders Solutions Ucrete HF60RT
A 6 mm flow-applied polyurethane concrete screed built for fast-track programmes: down on seven-day-old concrete, back under traffic within 24 hours, rated for service from −25 °C to +80 °C.
What is it?
A heavy-duty, water-based polyurethane cement hybrid floor screed, flow-applied at around 6 mm with a lightly textured, slip-resistant finish.
Where is it used?
Wet and dry process areas in food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical facilities, chemical processing units and manufacturing workshops across India.
Why use it?
It accepts traffic in under 24 hours, tolerates damp and seven-day-old concrete, and shrugs off thermal shock from −25 °C to +80 °C.
How is it applied?
Rake-and-trowel installation over Ucrete PSC primer at 13–15 kg/m², carried out only by trained, licensed Ucrete applicator crews.
About Master Builders Solutions Ucrete HF60RT
Ucrete HF60RT began life in the Master Builders Solutions stable and now sits within the Sika family following the MBCC acquisition, sold in India today as Sika Ucrete HF 60 RT with the formulation unchanged. It is a six-millimetre, flow-applied polyurethane concrete wearing screed built above all for speed: it goes onto seven-day-old concrete, gets raked and trowelled across large bays quickly, and carries traffic in under twenty-four hours.
That matters in India, where shutdowns are short, slabs rarely dry to textbook moisture levels, and monsoon humidity wrecks the schedule for moisture-sensitive epoxies. Space Arc Engineering supplies and arranges installation through licensed applicator crews across Delhi NCR and pan-India, typically for food, pharma and processing plants where a hygiene-audited, chemically resistant floor must be back in service before the next production cycle begins.
The technical insight
The chemistry is a water-based polyurethane cement hybrid: polyurethane resin, cement and graded aggregate cure together as one matrix, with the mix water consumed in the reaction rather than trapped under the floor. That is why the screed tolerates damp, green and high-moisture substrates that would blister a standard epoxy. Its coefficient of thermal expansion — 4.1 × 10⁻⁵ per °C — is close enough to concrete that an 80-degree hot wash does not shear the bond line. The cured surface is impermeable, non-tainting and does not support bacterial or mould growth: a floor engineered for wet process areas rather than adapted to them.
Where it is used
- Fast-track new-build factory floors on early-age concrete
- Food and beverage production and packing halls, wet or dry
- Dairy, brewery and bottling floors subject to hot washdown
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing and secondary packing areas
- Chemical and process plant floors with regular spillage
- Refurbishment slots inside tight production shutdowns
- Freezer and chiller floors operating down to −25 °C
- Engineering workshops needing durable, liquid-tight floors
Key advantages
- Return to traffic in under 24 hours, even at +8 °C substrate temperature
- Can be laid on 7-day-old concrete and 3-day-old polymer screed
- Tolerant of damp, green and high-moisture substrates
- Service range of −25 °C to +80 °C at just 6 mm thickness
- 54 N/mm² compressive and 14 N/mm² flexural strength once cured
- Non-tainting; does not support bacterial or mould growth
- R10–R11 slip resistance with PTV 40–45 in wet conditions
- Low-VOC, with Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification
Limitations & considerations
- Installation only through trained, licensed Ucrete applicators, not general flooring contractors
- At 6 mm it suits light steam cleaning only; sustained steam duty needs thicker Ucrete grades
- Needs a sound substrate of at least 30 N/mm² compressive strength
- Application window of +12 °C to +35 °C ambient can constrain peak-summer or cold-store work
- Utilitarian colour palette; decorative finishes need Ucrete HPQ instead
- Higher upfront cost than thin-film epoxy coatings at 13–15 kg/m² material load
Selection & best practice
Get the substrate right and the rest follows. Cementitious bases need a minimum 30 N/mm² compressive and 1.5 N/mm² tensile strength, mechanically prepared and free of laitance, oil and loose material. Damp concrete is acceptable but standing water is not, and new slabs need three days for early shrinkage to pass. Pre-treat construction joints and static cracks before laying. Prime with Ucrete PSC at 0.2–0.4 kg/m², then lay the wearing coat at 13–15 kg/m² for 6 mm, raking to level and trowelling to finish, holding ambient between +12 °C and +35 °C. Installation is restricted to trained, licensed Ucrete applicators — which also protects the warranty.

Industry use cases
Food & Beverage
Production, filling and packing halls where hot washdown, fats and organic acids destroy epoxies; the non-tainting surface keeps auditors satisfied.
Pharmaceuticals
Manufacturing and packing blocks needing a low-VOC, impermeable, easily cleaned floor installed inside a validated shutdown window.
Dairies & Breweries
Thermal-shock zones around pasteurisers, CIP stations and bottling lines, where concrete-matched expansion keeps the bond intact.
Cold Chain
Chiller and freezer floors down to −25 °C, with rapid cure that limits time off-temperature.
Engineering & Warehousing
Fast-track new builds where flooring sits on the critical path and young slabs must be handed over finished.
Frequently asked questions

How we position Master Builders Solutions Ucrete HF60RT
Within the Ucrete family, HF60RT is the fast-track generalist. Step up to Ucrete DP for heavier thermal cycling and aggressive chemical attack, or Ucrete IF for punishing mechanical duty. Ucrete MF suits drier areas wanting a smoother medium-duty surface, Ucrete HPQ adds a decorative quartz finish, and Ucrete CS handles coving so the whole floor passes audit as one system. Where polyurethane concrete is over-specification — a dry warehouse or utility corridor — Space Arc can quote self-levelling epoxies from our Sika and Fosroc lines at a lower installed cost.
