Product Overview
FerroGard®-901 IN is a water-based, surface-applied, migrating corrosion inhibitor (MCI) developed by Sika for the protection of steel reinforcement in existing concrete structures. When applied to the surface of concrete, the active ingredients migrate inward through the concrete pore system by capillary action and diffusion, reaching the rebar surface where they form a protective molecular film that inhibits chloride-induced and carbonation-induced corrosion. FerroGard®-901 IN is used for condition upgrading of concrete structures in chloride-contaminated environments and as a preventive maintenance treatment for structures in aggressive coastal or industrial environments.
