Product Overview

Rokkon® R (FS) is a polyester-resin capsule system for anchoring rock bolts during tunnelling and mining. Each capsule holds pre-measured resin and catalyst; when a rotating bolt is driven into the drill hole it bursts and mixes the components, filling the annulus between bolt and rock. The fast-setting resin develops very high early strength, locking the bolt in place to reinforce freshly exposed strata and prevent roof or wall collapse. It supports both point anchorage and full-column grouting, and the cured polyester resists vibration, fresh and salt water, oils, grease, petrol and salts, giving durable anchorage in aggressive underground environments. As a laboratory-tested, pre-packed product it removes site mixing errors.
