Product Overview
Sikafloor-81 EpoCem is a three-part, epoxy-modified cementitious mortar that works as a self-smoothing screed and temporary moisture barrier in the 1.5 to 3 mm range. It combines the toughness of epoxy with the vapour permeability of cement, so it stays impervious to liquids yet lets the slab breathe. This lets contractors apply resin floor finishes over damp or green concrete without the osmotic blistering that usually delays projects. It also serves as a levelling and patch-repair mortar and is classified as an EN 1504-3 Class R4 repair material. Typical uses are fast-track industrial floors, food and pharmaceutical facilities and refurbishments where waiting for the slab to dry is not an option.
