Product Overview
Rokkon®-1 is a cementitious capsule supplied as a sausage in a perforated plastic pouch, used to grout rock bolts for strata reinforcement in tunnelling and mining. The capsule is soaked in water for a few minutes to activate, then inserted into the drill hole where the bolt is driven through it; the chloride-free special-cement mix sets quickly and develops strength to anchor the bolt and reduce the risk of roof collapse. Its thixotropic consistency minimises grout loss from overhead and inclined holes, and its controlled non-shrink expansion ensures full contact with the rock. As a pre-packed, laboratory-tested product it gives consistent, repeatable results without site batching.
